Only, I guess, slightly "healthier" because they're vegan….First time making donuts….and they are addictive! Thank goodness I doubled the recipe! This batch is tossed in regular sugar. Second batch will be cinnamon sugar!

This sub is mental. The other day,I decided to make bagels for the first time. The sub immediately filled with bagel photos.
Today, I’m making doughnuts for the first time.
At our local Chinese buffet, we have something similar looking that we call “Chinese donuts” lol so uncultured, I know. Do you know if it’s the same thing?
These look beautifal and they’re probably 10x better than the buffet ones. One time I tried to sneak one out in my pocket when I was finished eating. I wrapped it in napkins and put it in my breast pocket, later that donut was bone dry and all of the oil had leeched into the napkins and left a permanent stain in my breast pocket lol.
Are these the one at the Chinese buffet???
