Pick a bottle for me sub $50. I’m more of a Sonoma coast or burgundy guy, but currently in OR and looking to get local. Prefer lighter body and organic/biodynamic but don’t want crunchy hippie juice.

Sub $50, I’m likely picking up the Drouhin Dundee hills.

  2. datsciencedo219

I’d say stretch and go for the beaux Freres. You wont be disappointed. That being said resonance and Roserock
Are great sub 50 options too.

  3. frag-amemnon

Patricia Green, Eyrie, Shea at your strict price point

  4. There’s a lot of great stuff there. I’d grab either the Roserock or the Patricia Green.

  5. Millennial_Wine_Guy

The Patricia Green old Vine Estate is great stuff. Also love the Flanerie Pinot from Flanuer but it’s a bit heartier than most. Would also recommend either Eyrie or Bergstrom.

Hey OP is this Newport market in Bend? If so I have some wine shop recommendations for local Pinot that will have better prices

  7. Tuscana_Dota

Lower end, Benton lane or Van Duzer. Top end, druhin

  8. champagne_dreams-

Patricia Green or Shea. If you go above $50- Soter but there are so many good ones.

  9. brohymn85

Is that Bend? If so, Stoller (Pinot/ChardBubbles) has a tasting room there.

As does Bledsoe and Va Piano (big Washington reds).

Resonance and if you could stretch, the archery summit. Both are solid Oregon Pinots.

  11. Disastrous_Square_10

Sub. $50 there’s actually a ton. RoCo, Bethel Heights, Lemelson, Panther Creek, Argyle, EYRIE, or Patricia Green. All gonna be bangers.

  12. _meestir_

Yeah nice selections there. Domaine Drouhin one of my favs

  13. coloradorules473

Whatever you do, don’t buy Domaine Serene

  14. Drwannabeme

Roserock is absolutely fantastic. I bought a couple bottles of it during covid at the local Trader Joes and as someone in college who knew nothing about wine it blew my mind. Now that I am a lot more educated about wine it’s still a fantastic Oregon PN.

If you are willing to go $1 over budget I recommend Eyrie too, Patricia Green is also great.

  15. Last-Secret370

    1. Beaux Feres
    2. Gran Moraine-shocked no one has said it
    3. Bethel Heights
    4. Patty Green

That’s how I would prioritize without the $50 limit

    With the $50
    Bethel Heights
    Resonance

  16. Mtn_Drew3113

If you can stretch your budget ever so slightly, Bergstrom or Gran Moraine. If not, Roserock, Domaine Roy (son of Beaux Freres founder), St. Innocent or Bethel Heights. Lots of deliciously great bottles.

  17. southside16

domaine drouhin if you are willing to spend like five more dollars is amazing for the price point in my opinion

  18. BillyZaneJr

Roserock for $70 and Freedom Hill for $66 is nuts pricing. I like both, but not at those prices. I think I just paid around $40 for a Freedom Hill yesterday.

Edit: that’s a different Roserock. I was thinking about their intro, that seems like a single vineyard or something. Never mind. And my Freedom hill bottle was $54. So I was exaggerating on accident!

  19. RepresentativeJester

Im gonna throw the slightly less known stuff. Your getting recommended a lot of top end producers. But there’s other great stuff too. Elk cove. Domaine Serene, argyle, chehalem, Bethel heights. Patricia greene.

Shea vineyard. Eyrie cellars. Beaux ferres are your more top end.

  20. MaleficentSteak4060

Elk Cove, St. Innocent, Roserock- top 10 wine this year!

  21. Beautiful-Price-6945

Purple hands lone oak is hands down the best willamette Pinot I’ve had under 40 bucks!

  22. IanTudeep

That’s an impressive selection. Funny that they’re sorted by price. Where is this exactly?

  23. sharkdoc29

Highly recommend Resonance, nice example of Willamette Pinot

  24. Love St Innocent wines and Maysara, Elk Cove and JK Carriere.
