The best recipe you (may) not have heard of is…red chimichurri! This one was a surprise addition to Chris Kimball’s “best recipes” list because it’s three of his least favorite things: grated garlic, heat, and balsamic vinegar. While each of those components tend to overpower other flavors, here, they combine to create something that’s very useful and very good.
We’d never heard of red chimichurri until we travelled to Argentina, where the condiment was an unexpected highlight. Instead of herbs, which tend to be muted by oil, it used paprika and red pepper flakes, which made so much more sense. The spices and garlic were potent enough to stand up to the steak, but balances with a bright, tangy sweetness from the vinegar. It’s heat, but with flavor.

When you enter into the world of discovering single malt scotch, you will meet a lot of extremely knowledgeable and friendly people who also demystify the patriotism American citizens feel towards bourbon. Just as with Scotch, it's not all good. Not only the bourbon industry, but the entire burgeoning craft spirit industry, will benefit from Americans establishing in their whiskey community the same level of transparency as well as autonomy and independence from the industry, as they do in Scotland. Furthermore, considering the pandemic allowed many to take advantage of the time to partake, this community work may be even more relevant as many have not yet recovered 100%, unbeknownst to them. What is most interesting and also explains how this could happen, is that the negative side effects of bad quality are not in anyway linked to price which means the negative impact/affect is not limited to lower or even middle income consumers, but is relevant for every consumer right up to the consumers of the most exclusive and elite bourbons. Don't believe me? Start learning about Scotch from online communities like YouTube channel, Aqvavitae. In my experience, there exists a threshold of between $75 to $250 USD where you can buy bottles that are often as good or better than many costing more that is impossible for bottles that cost less than $75 USD. Virtual pubs (or vPubs), and YouTube content creators are experiencing a massive demand for reviews of these bottles so that they may too experience true value. This may be golden era where average consumers can access information about true value because the new interest in Scotch is allowing investors to build brands by put the barrels that have been identified as not having maturation potential for their flagship products into new flavoring casks like wine, sherry, and port. While the new consumer demand paying for all of this creativity does cause successful innovation to be incorporated into the canon and flagship brand, it is not all good. Thus, soon the same thing that has happened to bourbon for Americans may very well happen to Scotch for Whiskey consumers around the world. At that time, Scotch will be save not by public vPubs, but by private ones, and will be forced to retreat into the same private communities that protect wine knowledge and information about the true value of bottles of wine.
Ahhh as pretentious as always . . . Oh lord golly, who EVER would have thought of a pseudo "complex" recipe like this, except anybody who regularly grills meat or fish. This dude used to be cool, now he's just an angry dork. And P.S. – if you can't properly cook a steak to a nice mid rare on a grill start to finish, you have no proper cooking skills. This clown can overcomplicate any cooking process. Total buffoon.

Your recipe in the link doesn't say how much oregano, chilli flakes, garlic, vinegar and salt to use. Also, your video says 1/4 cup of oil but the recipe says 3/4.
