  1. Ingredients
•1 lb hot Italian ground sausage (mild for kid friendly)
    •4 tbsp butter
    •1/2 onion, chopped
    •1 tbsp minced garlic
    •6 cups chicken broth
    •2 cups water
    •5 yellow potatoes, cubed
•2 tsp each salt and pepper
    •2 cups heavy cream
•3 cups chopped kale (I used frozen for convenience)
    •Parmesan cheese for topping

    Instructions
    1) In a large pot, brown your ground sausage. Once done, remove your sausage and set it aside for now. Return your pot to the stove.
    2) Add your butter to the pot. Once melted, add your onions and cook until soft. Add your garlic and cook for another minute.
    3) Add your chicken broth, water, potatoes, salt, and pepper. Stir.
    4) Bring to a boil, then turn the heat to medium-low and cook until your potatoes are tender.
    5) Add your heavy cream and kale. Mix well. Stir in your cooked sausage. Serve with Parmesan on top and breadsticks on the side. Enjoy!
