  1. Video on here of a man who used a compost pile to heat his greenhouse. He had coiled a water line in the compost pile and used that water to go through his greenhouse and water the plants in the winter.

  2. I wanna grow veggies in the winter but I saw -36° in January on the thermometer and I don’t think any plants like that 😅 I can’t afford electrical heating in a greenhouse with those temperatures

  3. Do you think this would work in a climate that’s consistently as cold as Michigan? Sorry if you’ve said in previous videos where you’re at that you’ve made this work! I’m a new follower. Thanks!

  4. Slope is good look at amish barns and house gardens down slope. Rain runs the poo through the garden to grow veggies better. .

  5. Tomato to grow them or you have to do is get it straight from the tomato the seeds and put them in a pot and less than a month in the spring the start coming out

  6. Actual if you have a large slope/ hill you can use it to your advantage if the slope is a south facing hill. you can dig into the side of the hill until you have a nice flat area then reinforce the back side and then cover the south facing side with your greenhouse plastic or glass. The back section will help insulate the greenhouse and keep it warmer and if it’s below the frost line it will even help to keep your greenhouse warmer in the winter. This is how the Chinese make there greenhouses and they can grow tropical plants year round in them.

  7. For those that are just starting to do greenhouses I personally recommend using solar pass-through greenhouses and when she says location is everything she is right if you want the best way to do a greenhouse without having any delays on food throughout the year, depending on what side of the equator you are is what way you face your greenhouse for instance if you live in Canada Wisconsin, Michigan or anywhere that is northern part of the equator you find solar south, and you can heat your greenhouse without using any electricity just using the sun

  8. For the 1st time this year I added a 5gal bucket, water, and fish tank heater to my greenhouse. GAME CHANGER!!! Simple, small, cheap and effective! Give it a try. Play around with how much to leave the lid ajar. I thought it needed to be only open a little bit to keep the water warm but it’s actually open quite a bit in order to keep it warm and somehow the water stays warm even though the lid is half off. I do live in a warm climate but the youtuber I got the idea from had snow. His greenhouse was small. Mine is 9’x5’ and I use one bucket. If I lived in a colder climate or had one as large as this video I would probably add at least 2 buckets.

  9. I only had a balcony in my apartment that I cannot build it in my backyard so I put it in my balcony but be careful of the space
