Lying under oath is a bold strategy for someone in your current situation.

You honor, please enter into evidence the printed box directions.

  2. Did you thaw it by accident? Those are cook from frozen instructions.

Different ovens cook differently, it’s wild that the instructions didn’t give a time range.

No chance you have a convection oven?

Is your oven a normal-sized one? My oven has 2, one is normal oven size and the other one is approximately 1/3rd the volume. Cooking in the smaller one results in stuff getting burned (typically just use it to keep stuff heated, or making chicken nuggets or something) since the heating element is closer to the food vs my bottom (bigger) oven.

OP you most definitely did something wrong. There’s no way that 24 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius made a pizza this charred. No worries, we’ve all been there. The most likely culprit is that your broiler was on. This is consistent with being in the middle rack (if you’d left the broiler on for 24 minutes and it was in the top rack, the entire pizza would be piece of carbon). If it’s not that, buy an oven thermometer because your oven’s running hot. But it was probably the broiler. Double check!

  6. You never thought ONCE to check on it? Bro, that’s how houses burn down.

I’m so glad you followed the instructions because if not god only knows what would have happened! You stick with your truth, I admire the courage.

You set it on broil , clean the grease cake of your knobs! s

  9. Quick update, I called the customer help line on the box. I let them know what happened, and suggested that the instructions could be better served by listing a “range” of time, something like 18-24 minutes, or similar. They took this feedback and promised to relay it to the relevant department. For giving this feedback they offered to send me a coupon for a free pizza.

It was a nice gesture. I’ll never forget the fallen soldier above, though. 🫑

  10. I have the same stove, and my oven temp is probably as far off as yours.

    Get an oven thermometer.

  11. Yeh, yeh, you have been playing too long with the girls. You can’t hide it. πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯΄

I had one of those the other day. I thought the crust was better when it was reheated vs fresh. But I guess you wont be finding out for yourself. πŸ˜‚

  13. Did you preheat the oven? Some ovens use the broiler element to help with the preheat.

  14. The last instruction is “if you have an oven you don’t trust, keep an eye on your food”.

Did they say 800 degrees for 4.5 hours?

  16. No, no you didn’t. The first step to a pizza is making it ROUND.

That’ll happen when you leave the toaster oven on air fry mode instead of putting it on bake

If this was a Motor City Pizza Co product, and you in fact did follow the directions exactly, then I would get your stove serviced, or at least buy a thermometer for inside you oven.
