Implementing healthy and exotic Mediterranean foods into your eating plan can help boost weight loss – so why not try out Michael Mosley’s Fast 800 teriyaki salmon recipe.
As well as being delicious, Mediterranean dishes are known to have many health benefits, as typically they contain fish, nuts, plant oils, fruits, and vegetables. These ingredients can help lower inflammation in your body, improve blood vessel function, and reduce the risk of metabolic syndrome and diabetes.
Fast 800 diet founder and weight loss guru Michael Mosley encourages people to begin following a Mediterranean diet and actively cut out junk foods from their lives, as evidence shows that those who regularly stick to this new lifestyle change will live longer and have less chance of suffering from common health problems.

The TV doctor said: “There is so much solid scientific evidence that adopting this lifestyle cuts your risk of heart disease, cancer, type 2 diabetes, depression, and dementia. Even when taken up later in middle age, it has been shown to increase life expectancy.”
He added: “In 2013, a major Spanish study of 7,400 overweight, middle-aged Spanish men and women found that those who stuck most closely to a Mediterranean diet stayed slimmer and healthier, slashing their risk of a multitude of diseases (risk of a heart attack or stroke reduced by 30 per cent, type 2 diabetes by 58 per cent, breast cancer by 51 per cent and a lower risk of cognitive decline).”
To achieve weight loss, Dr Mosley has shared a teriyaki salmon recipe, which is part of the Fast 800 diet plan. It takes an hour to prepare and cook in the kitchen and serves two people. You can enjoy the dish with zucchini and spring onion as a side.
