Safe to eat? I think so but wanted to ask what you’ll thought


Bought some Pat Lafita’s burgers last Thursday night and never cooked the few left overs. They don’t smell dank, a slight funk but I think post cooking they’ll be great. I’m I crazy

    If it’s strictly beef, you’re good. Chances are it’s mixture if it’s sausage. If that’s the case, you won’t catch me eating pork under the correct temperature.

    Don’t do it. Ground beef needs to be used within 2-3 days at the most. Any funk == certain death

    Just don’t do it.

    If it smells like milk it’s fine if it smells like bad milk it’s not is how I’ve treated ground beef…

    Does it smell? is it slimy? was the package blown up like a balloon? if the answer is no to all three, you are fine, just cook COMPLETELY .

    It’s not dank but smells funky? Uhhh. If it doesn’t smell like it normally would it’s a sign

    Throw it out. Urgent care or emergency room visit is more expensive than a few patties.

    Are they actually burgers not sausage patties? Just curious, def looks like sausage.

    Personally I’d just send it as long as they don’t smell bad. I have an iron stomach though.
