1 – Pasillo’s Panini – mortadella sandwich the size of my arm (7/10)
2 – Jin Mei Dumplings – $5 for all these. Pretty good for the price point but not the best. Can’t really complain for five bucks. (5/10)
3 – Fraunce’s Tavern – short rib porter pot pie (10/10)
4 – Siena Bakehouse – mortadella breakfast sammy (9/10)
5 – generic hot dog from a cart in Central Park – (4/10 but 10/10 experience)
6 – HeyTea – jasmine cloud tea – this was one of the only things I got multiple times on this trip. I ended up going 3 times. I will dream of this thing. (10/10)
7 – Au Cheval – I went for the French dip and ended up getting branzino bc I was having two dinners that day and have zero regrets. I will go back for the dip next time though. They have a cute speakeasy style bar in the basement. (10/10)
8 – La Marchande – truffle pappardelle and asparagus – (8/10)
9 – Siena Pizza – classic slice and Nutella cannoli (6/10 cannoli 10/10 pizza)
10 – Ivan Ramen – chicken paitan ramen (solid 10/10)
11/12 – Ferrara – affogato and biscotti assortment (10/10)
13 – Spicy Moon – all vegan: ma po tofu, Dan Dan noodles, string beans (7/10, I did not like the noodles at all but they were popular, everything else was pretty good. Drinks and service were great)
14 – Mermaid Oyster Bar – clam chowder and shrimp cocktail (8/10) I intended to eat more but was too full lol
15 – Joe’s Pizza – classic slice (10/10)
16-18 – 1915 Lanzhou Handpulled Noodles – pork buns, spicy wontons, beef noodle soup. I went twice and wish I could go every day of my life. The Chinatown location was better imo. (10/10 forever amen 🙏🏻)
19 – Nutella donut and chocolate croissant also from Siena but forgot to add it in order and don’t know how to rearrange photos on here lol
Can’t wait to go back!

Oops sorry for the fucked up format
Hey OP For your return trip get your hot dogs at Grey’s Papaya! That’s where NYers get their dogs!!
You put ketchup on your hotdog. Never come back to our fair city.
As someone who is a dog for mortadella, that mortadella is cut way too thick and there is far too much of it. I will die on that hill.
Love the martinis in a few of the shots. This dude knows how to consume.
Number breaks would have been great for this post 🤣
Heytea supremacy!
Nice update. Making good notes for my next jaunt.
The ‘return button’ can be your friend sometimes. ;’)
Where are you originally from, OP?
Must be an exciting visit, NYC?
I live just outside of the big city and a lot of the foods you’ve posted are also available near us, so we don’t specifically go to the city to try those places, but I imagine the variety and quality must be thrilling for visitors.
No Los Tacos No 1?
I used to review bubble tea spots around Manhattan and Hey Tea was great, their cheese foam does it for me. Glad you liked it too!!
omg, the cloud tea! I love cheese foam tea but have never been to HeyTea, i’m gonna make a point to go tomorrow. thanks for the rec and the meticulous reporting!
