  1. I’d be suspicious it doesn’t work. Had a couple fail from that generation.

I have a similar model and I love it. It was one of the few I found that could be left on ad infinitum. I used it for black garlic and black fruits and it held temp for multiple months.

if it works then thats a score, though i have killed a few immersion circulator from that brand back in my butchery days (we also made deli meats). but for 13 bucks id buy it

edit to change immersion blender to immersion circulator

Check the water temps with a calibrated thermometer. That’s a great score if it works correctly.

In about a 2 month span i have found a 120$ ring light kit, a 175$ nighthawk router and enough 3m printable shipping labels to stock an office depot at good will. The economy might suck but the peoples republic of Will is holding it down.

That’s been somewhere you don’t want to know about.

Cake slicing. Ice cream scooping. Anything where you need hot tools. I love hot tools….

If it turns out not working I’ll buy the clamp from you, I have the same one working but the clamp broke

I use that for film development, going on strong 5 years haha

I would just take the clamp screw. Mind broke lol

What makes for a good water bucket for these? Are there specific containers you use for sous vides or are there cheaper alternatives? I’ve got a heat/recirc unit but never got around to getting the container to use it in and I’d like to remedy that.

My mom visited me last year and found one of these in my kitchen and I had to explain to her that it’s not some freaky sex toy that I keep in my kitchen drawer.
