I used to split a cow with my buddy, was a good deal but limited in preferred cuts.

He says 100 lbs. at the end. Did he mean 100 lbs total? That’s light for even 1/4 cow.

Thats some good butchering too. Got a sampler from a farm a few years ago and the butchery was less than ideal.
We bought a chest freezer to prepare to get a 1/2 or 1/4 and never ended up going through with it. Now that I’m smoking and see all of that laid out, may have to find a new farm to finally do it. Central KY if anyone has any recs.

Totally worth it doing this. I live in a rural area. I have a deep freeze in my garage that has nothing but beef from a local farmer. So damn good
