Been coming here every couple of weeks for lunch and, in my opinion, it’s absolutely fire. Pictured is the two meat plate with pro ribs, brisket, coleslaw and waffle fries. They also provide some spicy pickled onions and carrots and a pickle as well to cut the richness of the meat. Just throw on some of that spicy bbq sauce and it’s a wrap!

Lamberts doesn’t get the respect it deserves

The Smoked Turkey Reuben is also really worth checking out.

Lambert’s put brown gravy on cfs when they were on South Congress. Never been back.

One of my favorite lunch spots. Except I go all in by doing double mac and cheese for my sides. I usually do the bbq meat plate but one time a guy sitting with me at the bar got the redfish sandwich and he said it was great. That’s next on my list there to try.

  7. Ok. You’ve convinced me.

Perhaps it’s mostly due to the waffle fries. And I see you are a sauce man/woman as myself with your extra little sauce there (ranch? Chipotle ?), cuz who the hell is just dipping fries in ketchup. But yes you’ve convinced me.

Lamberts is home to probably the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. That place rocks!

I don’t even want to ask how much this costs given the aesthetics of this place

  10. Their Buffalo Quail appetizer is an all time favorite of mine

Had the most delicious sweetbreads at Lambert’s. Don’t think they serve them often tho.

I don’t think the BBQ is as good as the popular places, but it more than makes up for it to have a place you can make reservations at and have a nice sit down dinner with waitperson rather than standing in a line for an hour for a disposable plate of food and a picnic table. Don’t get me wrong, that’s great too, but there’s room for both.
