This was around 20 bucks, and was worth every penny. Bread is amazing, eggs were almost perfect (undersalted in my opinion). This was half, so good to share.

  1. I think he keeps them a bit undersalted because there is add on ham option…. It makes the sandwich that much more expensive but SO and I split it, I have a London fog and we also split a pastry and it’s one of the tastiest breakfasts out there.

  2. this and a beer at bar latino after?? You got
    yourself a date

I wish Melrose wasnt a fucking highway so that stretch could feel less stressful to  walk on

Thanks for reminding me that I’ve been meaning to try this place!

  4. Plain egg in a baguette for twenty bucks. This is a new level of fuckery. This would cost under ten euros in Paris and be just as good if not better. And if half is enough for one meal, just sell half.

Petit trois O’riginal has a better omelette

  6. I didn’t care for this sandwich but I’ve eaten many a jambon beurre there with the pecan latte

  7. 20 bucks? For an egg sandwich? I’m sorry, but I don’t care how good it was, it was not worth it.

Their Jamon beurre is something I think about often. And a pink praline latte! So good

i love this so much and split the sandwich and a salad with another person. that whole thing is just too big for one person and the salad breaks things up nicely. maison matho is such a gem

it’s pretty but it just looks underwhelming for $20. i wouldn’t indulge but if you enjoyed it, that’s all that matters!
