children’s plates in japan are so cute, it’s a shame adults can’t order them in most places :(


menu consists of:
– potato fries
– pineapple
– pudding
– ebi-fry
– chicken ketchup rice
– sausage
– karaage
– potato salad with mini tomato
– hamburg
– orange juice

i had this at a hotel but it’s so assorted and flavorful, everything was perfect.

    Try out the Japanese style buffets next time you go. They give you a plate exactly like that.

    I have seen bentos like this. Even outside of Japan.

    Seems more like a typical ichiju-sansai or kaiseki way of serving, and adult’s can get plates like this too. But one single conjoined plate like that is not typical for children nor adults.
