It’s my birthday! I made a raspberry tiramisu and raspberry macarons (first attempt at both!)

LOL the caption got cut off 😭 the tiramisu was delicious but the mascarpone leaves a weird greasy feeling on your tongue after every bite. any suggestions? i think i might add less next time and use a lil more heavy whipping cream to make it lighter. i used about 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and 16 oz of mascarpone with only a bit of sugar added in since we have diabetics in the family.
i’m honestly proud of the macarons for a first attempt! i definitely need to work on them though as you can tell by the cracking and lack of defined feet. raspberry cookie filled with a raspberry cream cheese with a dollop of raspberry jam in the center. i like raspberries 🙂
