Have a toddler and am in crutches so not much time to attempt and perfect things like this. My first try here. Pistachio cake with whipped vanilla and pistachio frosting for close friend's bday 🙂

Well done! I think we’re all too hard on ourselves. So, here’s how I gauge my “success”:
1. Can you tell it’s a cake? Yep – success! 2. Does it taste good? Yep – success! 3. Did other people eat it and enjoy it? Yep – success!!
The rest, while appealing, is just aesthetics. And aesthetics can be worked on, but there is NOTHING worse than a beautiful cake that tastes like crap, lol
