I just got some tonight as suggested on my post looking for smoky sardines. They are so good and not $14.00 for one!

I’ve only had them in the flat tin with clear plastic film top, but I think they’re the same. They’re the most intensely smoky sprats I’ve tried and have very crispy tails. I enjoy that a lot sometimes, but not as a daily driver—to me they call for a bigger spread of pickled/briney/spicy accoutrements, and perhaps a beer.

These are great. I bought one jar for $7 and they lasted me a week in the fridge. Hope my Costco gets them

I personally find that the Smoked flavor of these totally drown out the taste of the actual sardine. I enjoy light smoke or flavor but I really appreciate the taste of the fish as well.
However, some people enjoy that heavy smoked flavor..I am just not one of them..

Apparently the Baltic Sea is very polluted so I’ve been avoiding fish from there. But they sound tasty!
