I don’t know if “want a smashburger”. But go to the walmart clearance section and they will often times have some yt ppl’s “smash thing” for cheap or just buy some parchment paper and use a pan or something. Now if you don’t care ignore this post and that burger still looks FIRE!!!!!! Good job

That spatula selection gets me every time too! I must say this looks yummy and I always cook onions with my burgers too! Btw your picture makes me a little teary because my Grandma had this same Corelle pattern!

Looks really tasty! I’m smoking some chicken right now and I’d rather have that now ha

Firstly, it looks delicious. Secondly, I commend you for not calling it a smash burger. It’s a very abused term.

Before I got a burger smasher I actually just used a smaller skillet pan. Like the 6 or 7 inch ones.

Id put the wax paper over the meat, then smash with the pan bottom. Pressing into the pan itself to get even press. Worked great. No need for spatially to press at all.

  7. mine come out that way too. i only have a plastic spatula and a dodgy pan on the stove. still prefer two pressed patties with cheese to one thick boi
