For all my wine people, I found this Harlan for 50% off?! Worth it? Sell it for a profit?

I can’t believe they had this in the open and not behind glass.

  1. Going rate on Wine Searcher is about $1050 (which means it isn’t flying off the shelves at that price, let alone $1600+). That’s a good price but not a huge opportunity to profit.

Nope. You can get that same bottle from Benchmark for $1024. And this one has been sitting in a supermarket, not a cellar. Buy for yourself? Sure. For profit? I think you’ll be turning $829 into $700

Not that great a deal, absolutely awful idea to try make money off it

I would get the magnum spottswood and call it a day.

Why does this stuff never happen in my neck of the woods?

I’ve had so many wines at $50-100 tasted better than Harlan. I know you’re paying for the localized and quality process but I’m probably never going to bother with that wine again unless it’s gifted.
