Came to this sub when debating what grill to get… needed something to grill burgers for the kids and occasional smoking. Wasn’t sure a pellet would get hot enough to traditional grill.

Did these turkey burgers on the Weber Searwood (manual temp, 10/10) before throwing on chicken for the wife and I. Nice sear marks. Definitely got hot enough to char. FWIW it was only 38 degrees out.

Did brisket last weekend, low and slow worked fine too.

Yes, I know the chicken isn’t done. ThermoWorks RFX FTW – game changer.
