Put a towel in a bucket of bleach and water mixed then lay the beach towel on the spot for a couple of hours. Then wash it off as you normally would

  2. Spit on it, the saliva helps break it down. Let it rest overnight though before spraying off

Invent a time machine and stop whoever pissed on it from doing so.

No, seriously: Cover in towels soaked in bleach overnight.

Avoid bleach if you can, really hard to get the smell out. Scrub hard with a new green pad and it should come out.

When I peel a bunch of carrots, I put a piece of parchment down and that’s the easiest way to not have to deal with this.

If it’s tumeric or something like that, I understand that they don’t dissolve with soap, but with fat.

But it probably leached too deep.

Scrape it off that’s what we usually do with ours. If you don’t have a board scraper a knife will do 🤷🏽‍♀️

Soft scrub and Dawn is what use on our boards (buffalo sub shop) and it gets our buffalo sauces out w ease if you let it sit for a few mins

Make the white disappear, boom new yellow board

If the curry yellow has permeated deeply into cuts on the board, it’s going to be a forever stain. Accept it and live with it, or replace. Next time order a different color.

There’s a product called block white made for cutting board whitening, but truthfully they’re cheap and should be replaced every few weeks when they get deeply scored.

At end of shift put a number of paper towels on your discolored areas, pour bleach over the towels, leave it overnight. Next day give it a rinse, quick scrub and run it through the dish machine, alert ALL staff about the bleach situation including front of house* also put a note close to it regarding the bleach. A LOT OF PEOPLE WEAR BLACK IN RESTAURANTS just a little brush against that board will completely screw black clothing.

Solution of bleach and water let it soak over night

You have to use anti-turmeric. It’s like tumeric, but with an opposite magnetic charge. It should annihilate most of the stain if used properly.

Block whitener. It’s kind of like bleach that sticks to the board. It’s used by grocery stores in fresh departments.

  15. Leave it out in the sun a day or two. UV light bleaches many stains like this

  16. RoadRunnerRules

We use a chemical called tanin. It’s a safe bleach and gets rid of stains in about 5 minutes

  17. TheSpotQuestionMark

Dawn and bleach. Get it wet scrub it in, then let it sit. Rinse it off after a while. Repeat if needed.

  18. Block whitener should be there somewhere. Use that, it’s what it’s made for and it’s food safe.

Do a lot of places use plastic cutting boards like these? No wonder there’s microplastics inside us. Everytime you slice something on this thing you cut off a tiny pit of pvc or whatever the fuck these things are made out of.
