It looks like a classic 1 with stainless steel metal parts: the daisy wheel, the bands and handle. The rack and deflectors look new. The internals are either very old, or from a BGE. So bottom line it’s either quite old or heavily modded. Looks nice anyway.
I suggest you watch some YT videos to learn fire management. I recommend the official Kamado Joe channel. I also recommend staying away from a terrible yet popular channel called smokin dad.
Edit: At 2nd look seems like the rack and single piece deflector are aftermarket.

That looks like a Big Joe I? With an aftermarket top and handle. It’s a great grill that will be great for anything from low-and-slow smoking, roasting, grilling, or ultra high-heat searing, even can make a pretty decent pizza.
It doesn’t look like the owner did you any favors by setting it so far back in that table; if you open the black door on the bottom of the table, can you reach the silver vent of the bottom grill? If not, you might have some usability issues.
The grill runs on lump charcoal (not briquettes like you might see at the grocery store), and is very low-tech. You start a fire in the grill, and use the top vent and bottom vent (currently hidden by your table) to control airflow, and therefore heat. The grill is ceramic, so you need to give it some time for it to be heated by your fire before it’s ready to cook.
Very nice!! I had never seen the stainless steel edition, looks awesome! I’m also quite new to grilling on one of these, and [this has been the video](https://youtu.be/eDpeEr6PuWU?si=S0zZztfP9M-6wQAn) that has definitely helped me the most these last few cooks get a much better handle on reaching and maintaining temperature. Almost every channel has a different way they do it, but this has been, at least for me, the most effective method and most useful instructional video so far.

You’ve got a standalone classic. I’ve got the same one and love it.

Stupid question guys, but could it be a KJ Pro?
