Normally Shakshuka is served for dinner, but I woke up this morning with a hankering

I love it as a breakfast food, especially if the weather is colder. For some reason that just hits the spot for me.

  2. Turkish people eat it almost exclusively for breakfast, so you’re fine.

Funny… I have only had it as breakfast. I’d love it for dinner too.

  4. I’ve never heard of shakshuka for dinner, only breakfast.

Idk what you’re talking about this is breakfast food, at least in Israeli culture I’m not sure about the other cultures that eat it though. Also eaten as dinner but it’s definitely a breakfast food as well.

Edit: yea I guess in your country it just isn’t considered breakfast

Second edit: What is there to downvote here? Just curious…

We have a very similar dish in northern Iran it’s called vavishka but it has ground beef in it 😀

In my experience, you’re gonna need at least one more piece of bread lol

Is this just eggs cooked in tomato sauce pretty much? I’ve never tried it. Maybe I’ll have to when I get some eggs lmao
