Is it possible this was even better? I feel like if I put cheese, lettuce, and some taco bell sauce I’d like this more than a traditional dog on a bun with mustard and shit

We did this all the time growing up, except we used soft corn tortillas, cut the hotdogs length wise & filled then with diced onions & cheese. Then use toothpicks to hold the tortilla together and pan fry them crisp & melt the cheese. If your tortillas are a bit stale microwave them for 15 seconds and they won’t crack (as much).
