    Idk why but this is very cute to me. Maybe it’s the punny title or the way the peas sit so comfortably in the shells.

    That being said, I’m not much of a pea lover myself.

    Are these canned peas? Because canned peas are awful, frozen peas are so much better and take so little effort to cook. Other than that solid dish.

    I do something similar but different pasta and a can of tuna. More vegetables too if I can but peas are a must

    To be fair, shells were a good choice to go with peas. I did mac and peas one time with wagon wheels and they had the same effect of weaving inside the pasta

    I put them in mine too. Nothing wrong with it. Provides some extra protein etc.

    Peas are a classic with pasta for easy/cheap meals. They hold up well to just boiling with the noodles. Corn works too. Stock up when bags of frozen veg go on sale and you can eat well on a budget.

    Any kind of protein you have can go in or alongside and you have a complete meal.

    Glad to see there’s pepper. Fry some diced bacon first and maybe stir in a bit of cream and this is amazing. The shape of the pasta works well with peas too.
