  1. I totally get the obsession with good olive oil! I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Andalusia and although I shopped A LOT there, the purchase that makes me happiest is a bottle of locally produced EVOO 🙂

  3. That part about the Parsley was pretty useful info. I usually only cook for two and the supermarket tends to sell parsley in huge batches.

  4. I have made lentil salad for years, but instead of tomatoes I like to add drained and diced water chestnuts for a little crunch and sometimes just use a good italian dressing but not too much.

  5. What a cozy kitchen…love the marble and the brass. The copper pots. And the salad of course❤. Great way of using lentils, I tend to forget it as salad. Thank you🙂👍

  8. My version of the French lentil salad: some onion and carrots, chopped and cooked with the lentils – ( and a bay leaf) dress with olive oil and red wine vinegar, salt and pepper; chopped fresh basil instead of the parsley. Love it with tomatoes and some feta or goat cheese.
    Leftovers can be made into a great burger, goes well with mushrooms and walnuts.

  9. I live in Ohio, and I have that bowl. lol – The Pigeon March. I have to make this salad. It looks awesome and delicious. I have an affinity for tin containers with advertising. Your cumin tin is awesome.
