Baking lavash or pita using lievito madre sourdough offers several advantages. 🍞
Enhanced Texture and Flavor:
Lievito madre imparts a unique aroma and softness to baked goods, achieving qualities that commercial yeast cannot.
Extended Freshness:
Products made with this sourdough remain fresh longer due to the natural preservative properties of lactic acid produced during fermentation.
Health Benefits:
Natural fermentation enhances nutrient absorption and reduces gluten content, making the bread more beneficial for health.
Additionally, using lievito madre to prepare lavash or pita is a wonderful way to uphold traditional home baking practices and derive genuine satisfaction from the bread-making process. 🍞🌾
