Recipe: Pasta with Clams (Serves 2)
Ingredients:
300g (7 oz) spaghetti or linguine
300g (1 lb) fresh clams, cleaned
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup dry white wine (optional)
½ tsp spicy olive oil (optional)
Salt & black pepper to taste
Breadcrumbs (optional)-to taste

Instructions:
1️⃣Prepare the clams:

Rinse the clams under cold water and soak them in salted water for 30 minutes to remove any sand.
Discard any clams that remain open when tapped.

2️⃣ Cook the pasta:

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the instructions in the packaged.
when the pasta is ready, then drain it.

3️⃣ Prepare the sauce:

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

while in another pan add some olive oil and toast the breadcrumb until it becomes crispy.

4️⃣ Add the clams to the first pan

Put the clams in the pan and let them steam for about 5 minutes until they open.
Discard any clams that remain closed.

5️⃣ Combine everything:

Add the drained pasta to the pan along with a splash of reserved pasta water.
Toss well and cook for another minute, allowing the flavors to blend.
Add the breadcrumb toasted and the white wine.

6️⃣ Serve & enjoy:

Plate immediately and enjoy with a glass of white wine!
