Monroe Place is a cute sandwich shop in the Arts District of Culver City. Plenty of metered street parking in the area and cool murals. If you go be sure to stop at the Parks Project across the street and Lei’d cookies down the block.

They have limited seating (a few mini tables) so I usually get sandwiches to go and eat them at SK Park.

They are substantial in size so half a sandwich is plenty for a meal. I’ve gotten other sandwiches there but didn’t do a post, so here’s one for these at any rate. Descriptions from their website.

Dilly Dally $15
lemon-y, dill-y, mint-y chicken salad with greek yogurt, touch o’mayo, cucumber, celery, carrot, on bub & grandma’s focaccia

I didn’t like this one too much at first blush but I ate about 1/4 and was full, and then was craving the rest of the sandwich for dinner. So something about it tasted good to my taste buds!

W.L.F $16.50
Saffron mayo, herb turkey, cucumber, dried barberries, pistachio, arugula, pomegranate molasses, crispy shallots, on bub & Grandma’s focaccia (CONTAINS NUTS!)

This was the most unique and delicious one. My coworker had the other half and she loved it.

THE MORTY $16
pistachio pesto, mortadella, burrata, cracked black pepper, arugula, Lil’ mayo, balsamic glaze, on ciabatta FROM OUT OF THIN AIR BAKERY (CONTAINS NUTS!)

I’ve gotten this one before, this one was for my other coworker. It’s super rich and filling, could really be three meals but it is delicious if you like cheese and mortadella!
