I’ve had this sandwich 2-3 times already and I love it. Idk if the owner will see this or not but dudes a really nice guy and makes great food. Hopefully this pop up turns into an actual location soon!

Excuse my ignorance, but as a person who eats pastrami from delis and has had The Hat and Johnny’s plenty of times, I’m wondering is this a particular style of pastrami sandwich? Like, the way it has cheese and is all shredded? I bet it’s got tons of texture. Is it Mexican?
I’m just not used to seeing pastrami cut like that and on a sandwich roll.
