I love mul – i just feel like naengmyun has to be mul. No other dish can you get a refreshing cold brother. Save the bibim for the regular myun!

  2. Mul for me, but going to have to try your strategy of Bibim with extra broth

I prefer mul. Wife likes bibim. Domestic issue at our home at times.

  4. You may have just started a war…
I like both but partial to mul more.

This probably one of the bigger debates in korea

Mullaeng! That’s my favorite Naengmyeon, but it needs to be with BBQ.

Love both but a lot of times Restaurant A will do a better Mul and Restaurant B will do a better Bibim.

Homemade, I like mul with a splash of the bibim sauce 😉

I lean towards the mul naeng. With lots of vinegar, hot mustard (겨자), and seasoned red pepper sauce (다대기).

If I’m having thinly sliced beef brisket bbq (차돌박이), I will go for the bi naeng though. Wrapping the noodles with the beef brisket… *chef’s kiss.
