Looked at the menu and then did some digging. Italian place run by Greek-Americans just as I suspected. The “gondolas” on the menu are peynerli. Turkish food, by way of Greece, being passed off as Italian. We Greeks remain undefeated at infiltrating every corner of the US restaurant industry and ignoring all boundaries of culinary tradition.
