This looks way better than Nando’s. Good work. For an authentic Nando’s experience you would need to over cook some shite oven chips and then put some chicken in a dehumidifier for 4 hours prior to heating it to something just above room temperature.

Faaaaark mate, this is pro.

Why do people insist on calling making regular food a ‘fakeaway’?
You’ve literally just cooked South African chicken rice and chips.

How was it all cooked?
Do you have recipes?

Nando’s is so overpriced it’s unreal, we regularly make it and home due to this and always end up with much bigger, tastier portions. Good on ya!

For a moment I thought that’s the world’s tiniest fried egg, on a black plate – then I realised it’s the sauce lid! Your dinner looks ace!

Very decent, the jam is a nice element.

To make the corn on the cob better;
Once boiled, add paprika to the cob and melt butter in the frying pan, then put sweetcorn in frying pan until it crisps it to a golden brown cob.

I want some of that Holumi 🤣

Very well done.

I do this! If I’m feeling lazy I use Nando’s bake in the bag seasoning and uncle Ben’s spicy rice.
Was a time where a whole chicken, sides 2 drinks an 2 salads were £35. Then after covid they changed the platter deal had to pay drinks separately and it come to £50.
Voted with my feet. A bottle of nandos sauce is £4. A chicken £5-6. Oven chips, yellow rice and home made salad not that expensive.
Won’t ever be going back.

That Tomato sauce is way to close to the Slaw though! Otherwise looks great!

I also use [this macho peas recipe](https://www.nandos.co.uk/food/recipes/bring-the-heat-home/peri-peri-chicken-thighs-spicy-rice-and-macho-peas)
