Looks damn good to me, broken up saltines add crunch and absorb up some of the juicy flavor interesting choice but I could definitely see it going good on hindsight!

1st of all reddit standards, there are none. Shitty steaks or great steaks they are all comment worthy. So the outward appearance alone is what I am judging. I like the crust the steak has on it. Like the sear is one of the most important parts of any steak. It seals in all the good stuff so it dont leak out everywhere. It also is where depths of flavor are created. Locks everything in. I have had some really good steaks done to medium well and im a guy that like my steak rare. I like my steaks rarer because the steak hasn’t lost all the juice that a steak more done looses. That crust keeps it in.
