The French Press, a downtown Lafayette restaurant known for its modern twists on classic Cajun and French dishes, announced Sunday it would close effective Monday.
This restaurant said on social media that it would focus on its second location on Ambassador Caffery Parkway. Improvements to that location could include expanded seating, enhanced services, and broadened catering offerings.
“This decision was not made lightly,” said Justin Girouard, owner and chef of The French Press. “Our downtown location has been a part of our family and the Lafayette community for 15 years. We’ve shared countless meals, celebrations, and memories within these walls. However, after careful consideration, we’ve decided to focus our efforts and resources under one roof at our Ambassador Caffery Parkway location.”
