Got a Filet Mignon, Med-Rare. Did they do a good job?

    I like that you went to a fine dining restaurant and got French Fries, my kind of person. Or do they call them frites because its fancier?

    For all the uncultured swine in this thread.. this is filet mignon.. It often comes served with a *sauce*.

    If you knew your cuts of beef this is from the tenderloin. It’s not as flavorful as a ribeye or NY strip so at finer establishments you will more often than not, always see it served with a sauce…

    Since this is the steak subreddit, I feel the need to point out that it looks like you cut it with a butter knife. But it looks delicious.
