Found 2 of these at a tractor supply and re- potted them. Do you think the sign is correct or am I getting pepper Joe'ed?

    You won’t be able to tell until the peppers start to form!

    As the other person said, you’re really not gonna know until it sets fruit. Most varieties of peppers look pretty similar until the peppers form.

    Historically my Bonnie ghost peppers have grown true so unless someone at the store was being a douche it’s reasonable to believe you should have red ghost peppers

    the leaves do kinda look like a capsicum chinense plant, so you’re at least in the correct species.

    It definitely looks like a leggy chinense, so maybe…but in my experience ghosts usually have more elongated/wrinkly leaves
