Hi y’all! First time tomato grower here. Does anyone know what this is on our leaves? This only seems to be on one tomato plant so far.

Leaf miners. In my experience won’t kill the plant if it’s not a seedling. Just cosmetic.

Leaf borers. Insect larvae that are laid in your plant and eat the leaves from the inside. You can smoosh them in these three spots so they don’t grow up and lay more.
Check the underside of the leaves, if there are eggs that look like white sewing stitches smush them, cut the leaves off that have the “tunnels”and do not compost, throw them in a sealed garbage bag. Check daily and keep smushing. This happens to my beets.

Id pluck that branch off – it’s too close to the ground, making the plant susceptible to bugs and disease. Tomatoes are like that.

Leaf miners. Pinch all the lines as soon as you see them. If it’s been a while remove the leaves with the lines and burn them.
