Super delicious, a lot of tertiary flavors coming through. Woody, leather, silky tobacco, and a long finish. Decanted for about 45 minutes. Still very much alive and continued to open up throughout dinner.
I need to get an ah so. Played with fire opening this with a regular wine key.

Wish the year I graduated from college was my birth year, because both my birth year and my husband’s birth year were ‘bad years’ for wine, and buying birthday wines from a service that specializes in that resulted in two, disgusting, wrecked and chunky but expensive wines being poured down the drain. 😭
I am also a 95 baby! A truly terrible year everywhere, but don’t let that get you down, seemed like an incredible wine. Happy 30th birthday!

My father bought a birth year Chateau Palmer to be opened on my 25th. Turns out the year I was born was worth quite a bit of $$$ and he decided to keep it 🤣 I’m still hoping one day we will share it though.
