As a pb owner don’t waste your money. At less then two years old and issues that required calling pb the gal in customer service said my grill was getting old.

Why zgrills only thing I saw better was double wall just see there is brand manufactured in china junk like everything else

Camp Chef Woodwind all the way. Had the 24” and only just upgraded to the pro 36” would buy it 10 times over.

I had an 850 for about a month before the augur motor died. Sent it back and got a Recteq Deck Boss 590. It’s been a beast for the last few months. I’ve heard basically nothing but bad about Pit Boss, aside from “at least it’s cheap”

Right now Grilla grills might be the best bang for your buck with their sale. Just both a mammoth and all my treager buddies are very jealous.

Personally I think pit boss is a worse brand. Go for traeger, grills grills, or reqteq. There are others that seem reliable, but these are the 3 I can vouch for.

I have had Traeger, Green Mountain and Pit Boss for the money Pit Boss is way better in my opinion.

I love my pit boss I smoke weekly never had any complaints it holds heat well and in the winter just throw a welding blanket over it there’s too many brand enthusiasts on Reddit or (trager fanboys) buy what’s in your budget what makes you happy god bless America

  9. I’ve had a Camp Chef DLX 24 for like 6yrs. I have not taken care of it well and had zero issues.

Being your first one it makes it such a hard decision I want to get the right one for the right price☠️

Bought a pit boss recently 1150, not a fan of it tbh. The fire pot is in the center of the grill and gets the grate in the middle very hot. I can’t put anything above the middle of the grill unless I want to cook it very quickly

  12. Pit boss it isn’t the highest quality nor the thickest metal but i own one and it’s my third not because they screwed up. But just to upgrade. My last one ran awesome, it was a pit boss savannah from walmart and i bought the wireless upgrade from pit boss. From everything I’ve seen yes there are higher end brands but as a first pellet grill I would say go for it my first pb is still running and is more than 5 years old. After you try out and see if you enjoy this hobby if you want to upgrade go for it. I just got the pb 1600 and plan to keep it until it dies or at least until the warranty is gone 5 years from yesterday lol.
