    Have you considered trying the Roman style alfredo? Without cream, just cheese, pasta water, butter. You might find it less heavy.

    As someone who loved Alfredo as a a teen and I never gained weight back then — hell yeah. As an adult I’ll take two bites and that’s it. If I eat Alfredo now it’s on zoodles and a small portion.

    This is actually a great idea. I’ve always found the Alfredo sauce to be a little too much tho I really like its taste. I’ll try to go lighter next time
