Freddy’s is my preference, but I also haven’t had Culver’s enough to make a true assessment. We didn’t have a Culver’s where I grew up but we had a Freddy’s. But now I live somewhere with multiple Culver’s and only one Freddy’s, so maybe my opinion will change
Live_Money_8481
Freddy’s is my go to bc i have nothing else in my town aside from McDonald’s lmao
Gizzardsandokra
Totally different experiences for me…fond of both, with slight edge to Culver’s

I’m from MN and Freddie’s has much better fries and also better cheese curds than Culver’s. 🙊
Burgers are comparable taste wise tho imo.
RandomPenquin1337
Shoestring fries make me irrationally angry but Freddy’s has good burgers.
RealCleverUsernameV2
I haven’t had Culver’s. Freddy’s makes a nice burger, but I always find them a little dry. I prefer Shakeshack.
Candle-Different
Freddys has relish which I rarely ever see and is one of those “core memory unlocks” for me. They’re both good but Freddy’s takes it for me due to more customization options. Shakes are good too
MustardTiger231
Both really good but when they’re fresh I prefer Culver’s by a nose.

Culver’s and Freddie’s always competing for my stop spot. Freddie’s has the better meat, but that butter bun at Culver’s is hard to beat … I wonder if I could get just the bun from Culver’s and the meat patties from Freddie’s and have myself a real fat guy moment …

Not lately.

A well made freddys original triple cheeseburgers jist mustard onion pickle is better than culvers.
However culvers is more consistent. And has the same caramelization on their patties.
I like the fries at freddys better.

I love Freddie’s. Personally, I didn’t think Culver’s was that great.
PADDYPOOP
Not better than culver’s, but absolutely close to it!
ShiftyState
I finally got over my Freddy’s phobia – the one by my work gave me food poisoning when they first opened about a year ago.
That said, I prefer Freddy’s. I don’t hate it or anything, but I’m not a huge fan of the buttery flavor of Culver’s.

No way. Their fries are crap. However their onion rings are outstanding. Their burgers are delicious but not an good as Culver’s.
DJ_CRIZP
It’s decent, but not Culver’s level. But better than a lot of other chains.
Illustrious-Leave406
Not better but different. I like Freddie’s fries better.
TranslatorRoyal8710
Can’t lose with either!
SewAlone
They are right across the street from each other by us. It’s always so hard to choose.
Luminaire317
Both very similar in my area. Usually Freddy’s gets the crispy, lacey edges on the patties. But it is usually a little more greasy, but not always. The price is higher though, and Culver’s has more coupons and online deals. I would say Culver’s has a decent edge, considering their ice cream is a bit better, and have more variety on the menu. The pot roast dinner is surprisingly good if your location has it as an offering. A decent fish sandwhich for those who like that as well.
Western_Ad380
Freddy’s wins for me. Head to head I like all of their stuff more
JediDruid93
Just wait till the 5th night at Freddy’s!
RevolTobor
I haven’t been to Culver’s, so I can’t say, but I do LOVE Freddy’s.
Hairy_Commercial6112
Not better than Culver’s to me, but still delicious. Both have some nice steakburgers and custard which has slightly higher quality than regular beef and ice cream
averagejosh
Man, tough call. I think I’ll go Culver’s for the burgers, but Freddy’s definitely has the better curds.
AudreyIona
Freddy’s is my most favorite fast food burger by far.

Bro I LOVE FREDDY’S
carsnbikesnstuff
Both really good. Day to day variations make the difference.

Culver’s for the win! We have a Freddys close to home but Culver’s is 4 hours away. Always stop there when we’re near one.
MidStateMoon
I wouldn’t go that far because I’m not fond of Freddy’s fries…but their burgers are damn good. Milkshakes delicious too. Culver’s all around menu is undefeated.
emansamples92
For me the edge goes to Culver’s. Freddys burgers have been slightly dry the last few times I’ve been there. Yet Culver’s has been on point every time. I like the shoestring fries from Freddy’s much more than the Culver’s fries though.
adube440
Freddy’s is really good, I’d take it over McD, BK, Wendy’s, etc. but Culver’s has it beat – at least for me.
shanedw13
Freddy’s is so good, one of my favorites and the custard shakes and shoestring fries are the bomb
