The only other box wine I’ve ever tried was Franzia and that was horrendous.
This one wasn’t good but more Importantly it wasn’t terrible.
Very muted notes of lemon and peach, no nose to speak of, almost imperceptible undertones of lemon peel and vanilla.
Not much flavor overall.
Ok, to keep snacking on cheese or hors d’oeuvres.

Handy for camping too!
I mean, being not terrible is a lot more than you can say about many others.
I haven’t had boxed wine in over 20 years. I’m assuming it has changed since then.
Nice to be reminded it’s out there.
Thanks for taking the time to share.
Always a good idea to have some plonk, table wine, etc. around.
I always have a box of Bask Pinot handy. Tastes just fine.
Bota Box is the best grocery store box wine imo. Still not great, but it’ll do. My husband loves them. Occasionally I’ll have a glass if I don’t feel like opening anything.
After finishing a bottle, you need more?
I buy the French wood boxes. But yes. Always good.
If you can find it La Nevera is the best box wine. They make a white, rose and rosado. All Spanish.
Kirkland Pinot Grigio- $4.99. From Friuli. Quite nice for what I like to call “free wine”.
I always like to have a slab of Melbourne Bitter tinnies on hand once the bottle is done
I keep a box around to cook with. I don’t always want to open a full bottle just to toss 1/2 cup into a sauce.
Years ago ‘Black Box’ made a damn good Pinot Noir, not sure how it fares nowadays.
Winking Owl. When only the best will do.
Tablas Creek puts their Patelin de Tablas white, red, and rose into 3L bags
It is dangerously easy as a fridge wine
I always keep a box wine in the fridge for cooking.
Brought a box of their Cab backpacking once. At 11k feet it was pretty wonderful haha.
I like keeping “cheap” NZ sauv blanc as a table white/cooking wine
