I have my last meal left but the chicken goes off 19th of April, however I read online that meat that has been vacuum sealed can stay fresh up to 2 weeks will I risk it?

i wouldn’t risk it witch chicken(unless you had it frozen), but that’s just me.

I have used poultry/meats beyond the date many times. I have a fairly new refrigerator and have a very cold area under an ice maker chute. I put every meat I get there to keep it super cold I have never found the meat smell to be off. I am picky on fish and seafood. Use those within 2-3 days. We smell, view and discard the packaging. Smell again. If your frig is constantly being opened, then I would use your judgement. I had a doctor once remind me that they didn’t have expiration dates on the farm so you used smell and sight to determine if it was still edible.
