  1. Thank you for the clarification. I thought it was a sirloin, but I was mistaken. Am new to steaks and grilling in general.

Edit: Just got home and checked wrapper in the trash. Meat department labeled it as a top loin, may be why I was confused.

As they would say in wolf on wallstreet, you are killing it with the sides there my guy. Nothing like some asparagus with a steak. Beautiful pink in the middle too, top shelf. Did you baste it in garlic butter?

Could use a little harder sear imo but not bad at all.

How do some of you guys manage to flatten your steaks so thin and yet still not get a good crust?

No big hate, OP. It looks delicious and I’d smash it with no hesitation. I just don’t understand this trend of essentially smashburgering the steak.

Kept the cap for your plate hahah nice call, looks good.

That’s a ribeye and you took the cap for yourself 🤣

If that’s what your butcher’s sirloins look like, can I see their ribeye?

  8. High-Steak

The steak **identifies as a sirloin** and that’s good enough.

I hope OP can identify friend or foe- or doesn’t have access to weapons since he sure can’t identify what a sirloin is.

    That’s a 2nd mortgage.

But reminds me I need to fire up the SnS this weekend

“Cooked it up for wife and me.” Tip: take out the wife, and how would you say it? You wouldn’t say I cooked up a steak for I.

This sirloin looks an awful lot like a ribeye
