Looking through the tent today during watering and realizing how much I love Chocolate Habaneros at this stage (5-6 weeks) they grow so thick, busy, and with giant oily leaves, most beautiful in the tent for sure.

Appearance wise, what is your favorite pepper plant and why? Happy Growing!

So far, it’s my reaper plants, but these are the first superhots I have sown. My favourite peppers are 7 pot primos, and somebody was kind enough to send me some of Troy’s seeds, I will be growing about 15 different varieties this upcoming season, so my answer may be different after that haha. Happy growing! 🌱

Of the ones I’m growing this year I’d say either Boar’s Claw or Nazgûl’s Breakfast.

  5. Chocolate Bhutlah – Incredibly spicy, but fruity and delicious.

Out of curiosity, when are you planning to put your pepper plants outside? This is my first time growing peppers from seeds and I planted mine 7-8 weeks ago and they’re getting worryingly big and I still have another month until they go outside. I’d say they’re slightly larger than that Swiss Chocolate hab, although some of them are definitely a bit smaller. I’m trying to keep them further from the growlight so they slow down their growth an bit and let the smaller ones catch up

As far as flavor, Freeport Orange scotch bonnets, as far as appearance, Peach Reaper DS

Calabrian hot peppers. Great for making red pepper flakes

  9. Fatalii, I love the fruity aftertaste they have.

I’m gonna be so boring: it’s giant marconi. They pack on so many fruits, and I love the color. Plus they’re fast to grow. Get that bell pepper taste and huge size, but unlike bell’s you got more than 5 a season. I think they taste better than bells too

In terms of appearance, Tabascos. If they survive the winter they can get huge and they look really pretty with all the tiny red and yellow peppers everywhere.

Jalapeño for its versatility (good as green, red, dried or smoked and turned into chipotle). Also Lemon drop for its taste.
