It’s not hard to find steak and eggs for breakfast. But if you want it with a Mediterranean twist, try the Galleria at Tyler.
A new restaurant called Panini Kabob Grill has opened in a space near the main entrance once occupied by Ruby’s Diner and Pizza:90.
It is part of an Irvine-based chain with a focus on healthy dining.
As its name suggests, it serves beef, chicken, salmon shrimp and lamb on skewers for $11.99-14.99 a plate as well as a range of grilled sandwiches, $11.99-$12.99.
But it has a long menu with several other offers, including wraps made with Taftoon bread, $9.99-$12.99; soups, $2.99-$6.99; salads, $9.99-$13.99; and appetizers such as a hummus trio, $8.99.
Breakfast is served until 11 a.m. weekdays and 3 p.m. weekends, including a flatiron steak with two eggs served with mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, tomato and serrano salsa and choice of toast for $12.99. The breakfast menu also includes avocado toast, $9.99; banana pudding French toast, $9.99; scrambles, $11.99; and omelets, $13.99.
A French toast breakfast is available family style for $19.99, as are kabob meals two skewers, rice and salad for $19.99 or four skewers for $39.99.
There’s a range of vegetarian options throughout the menus.
Desserts include baklava and tiramisu, and beverages include beer and wine.
Riverside is the chain’s 15th location in Southern California. There are also stores in Orange, Los Angeles and San Diego Counties.
The chain is planning to open its first San Bernardino County location in Victoria Gardens in coming weeks, but no date has been announced.
