Made my first set of meal prep last night to try and lose weight and save money. I work in car sales, so pretty sedimentary and always got fast food for convenience sake. It's a mix of chicken breast, brown rice, and broccoli or brussels sprouts. Attached macros too!

Ingredients: 4 bags of 90 second rice, brown. 10 pounds chicken breast. 2 bags frozen broccoli, 2 bags frozen brussels sprouts. Makes 12 servings. Macros in post.

High protein low carbs should keep you feeling satiated.

Pretty standard boring “bodybuilder”/”diet” meal. There are tree bigillions more of the same type of posts here. You’ll get bored pretty quickly and might end up going back to fastfood.

Maybe Look up normal recipes and how to make them less caloric:

    – measure your fats (butter, oil, avocado, nuts, etc)
    – Google volume eating
    – Bulk up food with cauliflower (mash potatoes, rice, stir fry, literally anything). It tastes like nothing, adds volume and it’s like 1 calorie. Same goes for zucchini.
    – Use grams as measurement instead of pounds and cups. It’s more precise.

You also can google freezer meals, save what you like and integrate it into a monthly (or longuer) rotation or something. You can also make a big batch and freeze excess. Over time you’ll build a stash in the freezer, so you can just grab “fast food” from your freezer and make food in 3 seconds.

    Good luck.

Hands down, the best addition to my kitchen was a $20 rice cooker. Once you switch, you’ll wonder how you ever went without.
