SAN ANGELO, TX – Napoli’s Italian Restaurant is closed, according to a note posted on the front door of the business.
The restaurant is located in The Shops at Stadium Park, 1901 Knickerbocker Rd.
All of our attempts to reach the business have been unsuccessful. When calling the restaurant’s phone number, the line says that the number is out of service.
We reported in late January of this year that the restaurant had converted from an Italian menu, to a steakhouse menu.
Owner Bekim Zeka said he made the decision to switch because there were too many Italian restaurants in San Angelo and not enough steakhouses.
“We are more in need of a steakhouse than Italian places … because San Angelo is more of a meat-and-potato town,” Zeka said.
Napoli’s opened in San Angelo in 2018.
Previously, this location was home to Zentner’s Daughter Steak House.
