After some fiddling and taking apart the panel to check wiring and finding a loose connection, she's alive!

Gave it a clean, have a new drip pan on the way. I could tell my weber kettle was getting jealous so I guess I'll just have to get both going this weekend ;).

This will totally be worth the cleanup.
I used to have this model. It felt a bit small at times but was amazing for most things.

Nice score! If you are feeling fancy you can get high temp grill paint and fog the outside with fresh paint and it will look good as new!

  4. That’s a Tailgater. Great smoker for traveling or just small backyard smoking. I’ve done prime rib, double smoked ham, spatchcocked turkey, ribs without any problems on mine. I use mine anytime I go to my folks house for the holidays.

    Enjoy and congrats.

Love the updates, brother. I just moved and had to abandon my smoker. I hope that I can afford a new one after we get settled into our new house. I’ve been a bit sad, but your posts about having good luck really made me happy! Enjoy the awesome smoker!!

I also went from a weber kettle to an pellet smoker.

If you have a SO that never touched the kettle, you may be able to get them to use the smoker. Wife uses ours more than I do.

How does it hold temp? I have that model for a spare and I swear it fluctuates so much
